Anti-Inflammatory Tea Recipe

Twice a week I make a fresh pot and enjoy it 3-4 times a week as I sit on my couch and relax before going to bed. It's those little things that helps me feel like I have ended my day in good note.

This tea helps fight inflammation, helps lower blood sugar levels, supports liver health and all it's ingredients are rich in antioxidants.

Ingredients
1 medium size Fresh Ginger
5 Cinnamon Sticks
1/2 cup dry Hibiscus (find this in your favorite herb store or BODEGA ;-)

Instructions
Medium or Small Sauce pan: fill with water
Cover and boil all ingredients together LOW HEAT 1 hour
Enjoy 1/2 cup 3-4 times a week

Storing
Let the pot cool and keep in your fridge for next day use
Good for 2-3 more boils
Do not remove the ingredients inside pot

Reheating
Add water if the pot needs more, reheat for 10 mins


For plan ahead prep
, I portion these out ahead of time and freeze them in ziplock bags! They are excellent to defrost in the boiling pot.
